Job Functions of Senior Hospitalist Locum

a) Manages and is responsible for the up most quality of care and medical outcomes within the allotted facilities.

b) Administers and is accountable for all store utilization within the allotted facilities.

c) Offers input into the hospitalist groups clinical, financial and service quality performance, capital plan, budget and personnel issues.

d) Make sure both patient and provider fulfillment and build up plans for perfection.

e) Systematize, attend and facilitate every day health care group meetings within the allotted facility.

f) Be present at and partake in requested Locum Review, QI and Care Management meetings.

g) Be present at and partake in all usual scheduled hospitalist locum meetings.

h) Be present at and partake in sub specialist assembly meetings as requested.

i) Give real time response to PCPs regarding operational and clinical guidelines to clinical efficiency and optimize patient care.

j) Meet and maintain all provider credentialing and QI values.

k) Keep up encounter data standards for correctness, completeness, timeliness and compensation level, as well as clear documentation.

l) Partake in the adoption, development and execution process for medical standards for inpatient care.

m) Work with the Medical Director to give surety proper provider staffing, together with vacation coverage.

n) Improves professional expansion and development through partaking in learning programs, hospitalist locum review and workshops.

o) Educate and guide all new hospitalists on PMG’s service standards.

p) Carry outs other gatherings as necessary.
